Custom Home Design- Every project starts with a ‘design’ phase. We prefer to be involved right from the get-go with the design of the home in order to develop cost-effective solutions and keep the design on track with the client’s budget. We understand the need to communicate with the owner and merge our expertise and skill set with the owner’s vision to cultivate each project. We believe that building a home is not just about the home itself, but also about the clients experience.

Our design philosophy is to build a home that is low-maintenance and sustainable so you can spend less time taking care of your home and more time enjoying it and the surrounding outdoors.

New Construction- We have extensive experience in building houses from the ground up. Jake, the owner of JT, has built multiple homes himself were he was involved in framing the structure to installing the plumbing and electrical so he understands first hand what it takes to build a home and the timing of different parts to keep the project progressing forward with no hiccups.
Remodels/Additions –What sets us apart is our dedication to maintaining the structure and character of older homes. While many builders would recommend ‘scraping’ an older home and starting from scratch, we see the value in preserving older homes and making them feel like modern construction while maintaining the history and character of the home.
We have done many remodels/additions and have a good understanding of the hidden challenges that can arise when tying into an existing structure.
Energy-Efficient and Sustainable Construction –We can combine the use of sustainable, low-voc and recycled products along with best-of-breed design and building techniques to create comfortable, safe and efficient homes. We have built highly energy efficient homes. We believe your home should be comfortable all year round so we utilize our insulation expertise to make sure your home stays cool in the summer and warm in the winter with the least amount of cost to you or the environment.
